What time are your worship services?
The community gathers Sundays at 11am for a Eucharist, followed by coffee hour. We’re a friendly bunch! At 9 am on Sundays, a service on Zoom is offered.
On Thursdays, we meet at 10am in the hall for Bible Study and an informal communion service.
Where are you located?
Church of the Ascension is located at 253 Echo Drive, just south of Pretoria Bridge. We have a directions and a map here.
Who goes to Ascension?
We are an affirming parish and are blessed by the participation of people of all ages and many different faith and cultural backgrounds.
Do I have to be Anglican?

The Rev. Victoria Scott is our incumbent.
Should I dress up?
Come as you are or wear your Sunday best, it’s all good!
Do you have Sunday school for the kids?
We offer Christian formation programs for children and youth. Sunday school is offered from early September to mid-June for children Grade 6 or lower. Learn more about our children’s ministry here.
Covid has complicated the children’s ministry, but we hope it’ll start up again in the fall of 2022.
Where can I park?
There is a parking lot at Immaculata High School, to the south of the church. There is street parking in the neighbourhood and in front of the church.
What is your music like?
At Ascension, we have rotating worship teams that include saxophone, oboe, recorder, violin, drums, guitar, piano, organ and vocals. We sing music from a variety of traditions and we are always looking for more people to share their musical gifts with us. Contact music@churchoftheascension.ca.

Community life at Ascension is rich, vibrant, and humming. Join a small group, come to a concert, participate in the liturgy.
